I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and that your new year is off to a great start. My husband and I went to Kansas City and had Christmas with our daughter and her fiancé and our son and his girlfriend. It was very relaxed with just the 6 of us. We also got to go cheer on the KC Chiefs win their division for this season! Woohoo!! Go CHIEFS!!
Last week, I made some new kids art kits and took them to Margorgeous on W. Republic Road. I made a family of penguins, polar bears and a pretty peacock. And I added a few more snowmen too.
Great news is that I can ship any of my kits now! Just go to the "Shop" button at the top of the website and you can purchase a kit to be shipped to all my out of town friends. Also, if there is a specific kit you or your child want, I can do almost any animal or subject. Just let me know!
In other Painting Junkie news, the first
quarterly subscription box went out at the beginning of the month. It is all about making memories with children through art activities. I have heard from many of my subscribers and they are thrilled with the activities that came in the winter box. Here are some of pictures of the projects included. First, there was an adult and a child's apron to stencil our logo onto. Afterward stenciling, the children can put their handprints all around the bottom area. Then there was an adorable puppy wooden door hanger that said "I woof you" that they got to paint. The third project was a ceramic teddy bear box for the kids to put some small treasures in when finished. I also added a couple of fun extras to the boxes that I know the kids will love!
I have already begun selecting activities for the Spring box and can't wait to open it up for orders again in mid February. I will let you know when that happens if you want to join us!
I have a couple of kids birthday parties coming up and wanted you to know that is still something I can do. I can come and teach the paint party or I can make up kits for the kids to do at the party using the subject of choice. I can also do all kinds of ceramics for parties too. Let me know if you are interested in having any kind of paint party and we will make that happen.
