Life Happens — Here's How We Handle Cancellations
At Painting Junkie, we know that creativity thrives on flexibility — but we also want to respect everyone's time, energy, and materials. Whether you’re booking a paint party, a hat burning session, or a special event, here’s how we handle cancellations, credits, and refunds.
Our goal is to make the process simple and fair for everyone.
If We Cancel
If Painting Junkie must cancel your scheduled paint party or event for any reason — illness, weather, personal emergency, or unforeseen circumstances — you will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
We’ll contact you directly and promptly to reschedule if possible, or to initiate your refund. Your time and trust matter to us, and we appreciate your understanding in these rare situations.
My Policy for Burning Experiences:
Due to the custom nature of our burning experiences, all sales are final. Hats, caps, and purses are specially ordered for each guest. If you are unable to attend, you may send someone in your place to burn what you have ordered. If no one attends, you will receive your item unburned. Refunds are not available.
If You Cancel in Advance (24+ Hours Notice) for Paint Party
If life gets in the way, and you notify us at least 24 hours before the event, we totally get it. Things happen.
In this case, we will gladly issue you a full credit to use for any future event of your choice — whether it's another paint party, a workshop, or a hat burning session.
Your credit will be valid for one full year from the original event date.
Credits are non-transferable but can be applied to any of our public or private events.
If You Cancel Late (Less Than 24 Hours) or Don’t Show Up for Paint Party
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the event — or if you don’t show up — your payment will be forfeited.
This policy helps us:

Respect the time of instructors and other guests

Keep events running smoothly
We love flexibility, but last-minute cancellations create logistical challenges that we can’t always recover from — thank you for understanding.
All tickets are transferable
You can always send someone else in your place.
